But the fun doesn't end there. It's not just about winning. NYC Trivia League adds an additional layer of excitement with its bonus points system. Each day the top 25 teams earn additional points. The most successful teams getting five bonus points while the next 15 receiving three. Over the course of the week the top 50 teams also receive bonus points and the top 25 getting 10 and the next 25 receiving 5.
In order to calculate your overall score for the league, we calculate the base score and change it to a 100-point score, considering the bonus points of 15 given each week. So, for example, a base score of 50 points is multiplied by 85, then bonus points are added in order to make it a total of 100.
